Symposium Submission Instructions
The Online Abstract System divides your screen into two parts and divides the symposium submittal process into 4 steps. On the left side (frame) of the submission screen you will see the Session Control Panel. This panel contains links that allow you to easily submit and modify your symposium, to view what you have submitted, and to access other resources. The right frame displays the forms you must submit. As you submit each form you will be shown a confirmation page that displays all of the information you have submitted so far. We encourage you to look carefully at those confirmation pages. Check what you have entered. We commonly see spelling and grammatical errors in submission, even cases of misspelled authors' names and email addresses. Be sure what you have submitted is correct! Each form and confirmation page includes a button at the bottom of the page. You must select that button to continue through the process. The information that you type into the form is not actually saved in the online database until you select that option. You must complete the four steps of the submission process in the order listed in the Session Control Panel; but you can go back to any completed step at any time if you need to make a correction. When making a correction on an early step you need not repeat all of the steps you have already completed; instead you can navigate from one step to another using the links in the Session Control Panel. When making corrections use the links in the Session Control Panel. Do not use the back button of your browser. The system automatically checks your submission for completeness. If you have skipped over an important field in a form, or if certain errors are detected in what you have submitted, the form will be redisplayed with an error message in red near the top of the page explaining what you must do. The information on that form will not actually be saved in the online database until you do as instructed by that message. Information is saved at each step of the process. If you lose your Internet connection or must interrupt the process for any reason, you can easily pick up later where you stopped. The Four Steps of Entering a Symposium
Submitted Symposia are symposia organized by individuals that include several speakers in a specialized area representing differing approaches and perspectives.
