This presentation focuses on exciting research connecting positive outcomes when ABA is paired with movement, sensory, cognitive and music therapy. Combining proven multiple-disciplinary treatments into one session allows for families to “super charge” their time in treatment, as well as spending less time in a therapeutic setting and more time in naturalistic settings where the transference of new skills needs to take place.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discuss basic understanding of how neuroimaging has enhanced our understanding of Autism deficits and their treatment
  • Utilize a multi-disciplinary approach within the context of ABA therapy
  • Explore ways to combine the best treatments from multi-disciplines into one effective session for proven successful outcomes

Content Area: Behavior Issues and Supports
