Join us as we explore the world through Brittany's eyes. From her daily work activities and chores on the farm to walking 500 miles across Spain, Brittany proves on a daily basis that being autistic and non-verbal does not mean that you cannot live your best life.
Discussing the transition from family home to group home. From the planning leading into the transition to the steps taken to coordinating care once in a group setting.
Learning Objectives:
- Explain the various activities designed to provide a fulfilling life for young adults with Autism once they have aged out of school.
- Compare and discuss the opportunities available when designing a plan for your young adult.

Michael Guarino is a father of two and a healthcare consultant. In the past, he served on the Autism Society’s Board for 3 years as Treasurer. He’s a past President of the Autism Society of Florida and a speaker at the state and national level for Autism. Michael is a national speaker on healthcare as the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association VP and testified to Congress last year.
