The Autistic Brain

The neuroimaging advances and genetic research that link brain science to behavior will be explained. The scientists and self-advocates who are exploring theories of what causes autism spectrum disorder (ASD), how ASD can be diagnosed and best ways to treat symptoms will be discussed. Long-overlooked strengths that the science revealed will be identified.

Temple Grandin, Ph.D.
Author, Speaker, Professor
Dr. Temple Grandin was diagnosed in 1950. She is a doctor in animal science, a professor at Colorado University and has received several honors and awards in her lifetime. Grandin is a prominent author, speaker and is on the Autism Society’s Panel of People on the Spectrum of Autism.
