My Autism, My Voice, Video Blogging and Social Media

Join Kerry Magro, the Autism Sociey's 2011 Outstanding Individual with Autism winner who is pursuing a Masters in Strategic Communication as he unveils his latest venture "My Autism My Voice", a video blogging effort that he has undertaken.Using social media and video blogging Kerry not only explores his life with autism but he highlights other autistics on the spectrum as they find their "voice". He encourages other individuals on the spectrum and their parents to explore using these worthwhile tools.
Learning Objectives:
- Help teenagers and adults on the spectrum learn to use their "voice" through social media and blogging
- Help spread awareness of individuals on the spectrum experiences and autism awareness in general
- Assist individuals on the spectrum to overcome communication difficulties and use technolgy/media to communicate
