#3024- A "Best Practice" Approach to Some of Autism's Most Pressing Issues
This Preconference Workshop brings together four members of ASA's Panel of Professional Advisors to weigh in on social communication, language intervention, behavior, and naturalistic ways to reduce stress and anxiety in autism. The information presented will be based on the latest research across several fields, and will be geared to helping parents and professionals translate research-based findings into effective practices in both the home and school settings.

Presenters:Diane Twachtman-Cullen, Ph.D., Starfish Specialty Press, Editor-in-Chief - Diane Twachtman-Cullen is a communication disorders specialist and licensed speech-language pathologist specializing in autism, Asperger syndrome, and related conditions. she hold a Sixth Year Diploma in earch childhood education, and a PhD in special education.
