#1627- Your Grandchild Has Autism..... Now What?
This session will offer grandparents a better understanding of the joys, concerns, and challenges inherent in having a child with autism in the family. Because some grandparents attending may have basic questions, this workshop will include a brief overview of autism. Session will include a facilitated discussion among attendees.

Presenter:John Shouse, Autism Society of Middle Tennesee, Parent, President of Autism Society of Middle Tenneessee - John Shouse is a parent of a son with autism and president of Autism Society of Middle Tennesee, and former chair of ASA's Chapter Advisory Panel. A frequent presenter at autism conferences, workshops, and chapter leader gatherings, John often speaks on family support issues, community building, faith communities, and on chapter development.
