- The preferred submission format is through IPA’s Online Abstract System. If you are unable to submit online,
please email technical support, or contact the IPA Secretariat at Santiago2004@ipa-online.org
- All abstracts must be submitted in English.
- Submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment to attend the meeting if accepted. Speakers must register for the meeting following the notification that the abstract has been accepted for presentation. Without a paid meeting registration, the presentation will be cancelled.
- All presenters must complete and submit a disclosure of any financial interest, arrangement or affiliation with an organization that could be perceived as a real or apparent conflict of interest in their presentation.
- Authors may submit more than one abstract of any type, in any category.
- Only generic drug names may be used. This includes the title, body of the abstract, slides or posters, unless the presentation is part of a sponsored satellite symposium. Commercial (product, brand) drug names must not be used anywhere in an abstract or the presentation itself in the IPA scientific program.
- Each poster presenter is responsible for mounting the poster in the appropriate location and removing it at the end of the session.

- Acceptance Notification: 22 April 2004.
- Early Registration: 30 April 2004.
- Hotel Reservations: 10 May 2004.
