This presentation provides an expanded awareness and knowledge base about sexual behavior in adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Knowledge shared addresses parental concerns about the needs for privacy, sex education, and appropriate sexual behaviors. Dr. Mary Joann Lang has been involved with the care of children for over 25 years, first as a nurse practitioner, then as an educator.
