This presentation provides an expanded awareness and knowledge base about sexual behavior in adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Knowledge shared addresses parental concerns about the needs for privacy, sex education, and appropriate sexual behaviors. The presenter will provide direction for the development of educational and behavioral strategies concerning sexual safety.
