Purchase AccessStudies have shown that exercise can have increases in attention span, language, on-task behavior and levels of correct responding. Aerobic activity produces endorphins that boost an individual’s mood and give a sense of control and well-being, which can ease anxiety, depression, and mood swings, common hindrances for children with autism. Parents and professionals will be educated on this research and how to implement exercise, using the iPad, into their child’s or student’s routine.
Coach Dave has developed the color-coded Visual Exercise System (VES) to engage individuals in exercise based on the research that states, effective visual supports in early childhood settings include visual schedules to increase task engagement, visual scripts to encourage social interaction, and picture cues to support play skill development. Please note: the App is for use only on the iPad.
