As the number of students with challenges such as autism and aspergers has increased, so have the way progressive principals and teachers of special needs children have begun to develop programs that integrate life and vocational skill opportunities into the academic curriculum. The architectural design of educational facilities serves as a key component in ensuring success of these programs whether building a new school or redesigning spaces within your existing school.
