A Transdisciplinary Approach to Autism Intervention (Featuring The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Approach)

Research has shown that transdisciplinary care results in more effective intervention, increased team member participation, and more efficacious treatment planning and goal development. This session will focus on how to facilitate transdisciplinary care in a variety of settings. Included will be an overview of The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Approach - an innovative, syncletic model that provides a unique framework where transdisciplinary care can thrive so that individuals with ASD can reach their full potential.
Learning Objectives:
- The participant will understand the neccessary components that enable true transdisciplinary care.
- The participant will understand how The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Approach SM provides a framework to allow transdisciplinary care to take place across all settings.
- The participant will be able to list the most revelent syncletic theories known to apply to individuals on the autism spectrum.

Lynette Scotese-Wojtila, OTR/L, has over 20 years’ experience working with individuals and families impacted by ASD. She has presented and published in the areas of autism spectrum disorder and transdisciplinary intervention. Scotese-Wojtila is the founding owner of Integrations Treatment Center (ITC), and AWEtism Productions.
