A panel presentation and discussion about the successful summer camp programs of the Autism Society of San Diego. Camp I CAN-Camp Including Persons with Autism Now and Surf Camp for Persons with Autism will be discussed in detail. Swimming programs for autism to be discussed. Strategies to help fund camps will be included.

Ms. Fett is the current president of the Autism Society of San Diego. Shirley is a co-founder of the chapter's Camp I CAN and Surf Camp for Persons with Autism. Ms. Fett and her husband have two sons with autism, ages 19 and 21 years. They reside in San Diego.

Tammy Anderson

Tammy Anderson is a current Autism Society of San Diego board member. She is the co-founder of Surf Camp for Persons with Autism and Pool PALS. She is the author of the book, Swimming with Autism.

Jennifer Chamberlin has worked for the YMCA for over 10 years. She was involved in the planning and development of Camp I CAN from the beginning. She is a key supporter of a wide range of autism friendly programs at the YMCA.
