The presenter will discuss the best practices in the area of transition and explain how to incorporate these practices into the lives of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In doing so, the presenter will discuss strategies for implementing Best Practices into the school and home environments, as well as recommendations for how schools and families can work collaboratively.

Jennifer Sellers, Ph.D., is a Consultation and Training Specialist with Glenwood, Autism and Behavioral Health Center. She has experience with program development in both school and center-based programs. Currently, she leads the Standards of Practice in Transition Committee. Dr. Sellers has an 19-year-old son with ASD.
