Vernell Jessie is a public relations practitioner with three decades of honing her craft. She most recently served as Public Affairs Director for the states largest MHMR center in Harris County. The longtime disabilities advocate was unamiously voted to serve two terms of the Mayors Disabilities Commission in Houston. She began her career at
KXAS-TV in Dallas/Ft Worth as a special assignments reporter. She is the mom of three.
