#3833- From Lemons into Lemonade: Maximizing Progress in the Face of Shrinking Therapy Time
This presentation meets the realities of decreased therapeutic services head-on by presenting easy-to-implement modifications to standard speech-language therapy that utilize collaboration and maximize functional skill-building for individuals with ASD. While not a replacement for direct therapeutic services, these modifications can not only help to maximize limited therapy time, but also increase positive outcomes for students on the spectrum. They can also go a long way toward promoting generalization and maintenance of skills.
