#3295- Parenting on the Spectrum: A Survival Guide
Parenting children who fall on the autism spectrum brings a set of challenges most parents are unprepared to address. Research over the last two decades has helped address the learning strengths and needs of children with ASD. This session will provide parents with proactive strategies that can head off issues before they arise perhaps making parenting less stressful, more fulfilling and ultimately more successful.

Presenter:Lynn Adams, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, Effingham County Schools, Springfield, GA, Autism Specialist - Lynn Adams is an autism specialist. She is the author of two books about autism, and several journal articles. She taught at the university level,has presented at the ASHA Annual Convention more than 10 times, and she has presented at state level professional meetings in Tennessee, Missouri, Virginia, and Georgia.
