#3214- Connecting to University Life
After a brief introduction to the "hidden curriculum" in university social settings, the presenters will discuss how to achieve effective interdependence within the university without the help of disability services, how to achieve scheduled regularity in a sea of social chaos, and a framework will be presented that will enable some degree of social success relying on special skills and talents.

Presenters:Doo Joon Chung, B.A., M.C.R.P, ABD, Doctoral Student - B.A. Political Geography, Masters in Community and Regional Planning, A.B.D. Urban Studies and Planning (Community Development Emphasis) Advocates for the poor and disabled and maintains strong interest in community development for disadvantaged and oppressed minorities.

Michael Malinowski, B.A., Disability Advocacy Cultural Association @ Portland State university, Board Member - Disability advocate, teacher of Reevaluation Counseling; a type of peer-counseling focused on self-empowerment and personal growth. Teacher of Disability Liberation theory. (practical theory from both the minority and the women's movements.) Michael earned a B.A. in Liberal Studies a course of study focused in Mathematics and Philosophy.

Jody John Ramey, M.S., M.L.I.S., Inclusive Dance Artist - Jody John Ramey obtained his Masters Degrees in Library Science and in Theater Arts. He co-wrote "Autistics Guide to Dating" with his wife, Emilia Ramey. He is an inlusive dance Educator/Artist (Dance for people with and without disabilities)and a worship dance leader at Rehoboth Messianic Congregation. (autism spectrum diagnosis)
