#2342- Annual Meeting of the Network of Autism Training and Technical Assistance Programs (NATTAP) | |||
This meeting is organized to provide those involved with statewide training and technical assistance efforts and members of the NATTAP an opportunity to discuss current issues and future needs. This is not a presentation, but rather an opportunity to network with others around topics such as grants, higher education, and state level training efforts. | |||
Presenters: | - Barbara Becker-Cottrill, Ed.D is executive director of the Marshall University Autism Training Center, adjunct graduate professor at Marshall University where she teaches courses related to autism, and is the Principal Investigator for the West Virginia Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring Project as well as for a grant addressing the secondary conditions of autism, both funded by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. - Executive Director at the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI) where he concentrates on statewide change efforts to promote advances in the training of professionals serving students with autism and providing supports for families. Mr. Henry is the author of Comprehensive Autism Planning System (CAPS). | - Pratt is Director, Indiana Resource Center for Autism - Indiana Institute on Disability and Community at Indiana University. Pratt is on faculty through the University Graduate School at Indiana University and presents internationally at conferences and workshops. Pratt is the Chair of the ASA Board of Directors. Pratt has written articles related to ASD, functional behavior assessment/positive behavior supports, instructional policy and policy. Prior to pursuing her doctorate at Indiana University, Pratt worked as a classroom teacher for students with ASD.
